June 13 - Ivanhoe to South Yarra via East Melbourne
Tonight was going to be my normal run home, but decided that I would try and run near the new apartment in East Melbourne. Left along the usual route along Heidelberg Rd through Fairfireld Park and to Dights Falls. From there I cut up to Trenerry Cres and behind Victoria Park, coming out on Johnson Street. Then it was south down Hoddle Street and then right into Langridge Street, cutting down a few side streets to Victoria Parade.I then went into the retail sector of the Tribeca building, noticing the bottle shop within the IGA and a couple of good looking cafes and restaurants. Yep, I'm getting very excited by it all!
Anyway from there I ran south down Powlett Street ( a four minute jog from our front door to the MCG) and across behind the MCG over the old footbridge beside Goschs Paddock and over the Yarra. Then it was a quick trip up Anderson Street and along Domain Road to Darling Street.
All up a 12km run in 65 minutes!
