November 1 - A Good Start

I have started the month nicely with a solid 9km hit out on the first day.

I went on the 'hilly' course home from work, which incorporates the hills around Yarra Bend and Studley Park. I pushed it a little bit harder at the back end of the run to try and build a bit more strength and endurance.

The new shoes are going well, still getting a blister on the arch of my foot from the Supernova due to the increased arch support in comparison to the Structure Triax, and it is definitely not as cushioned as the Nike either. I am a little sorer in the lower legs again due to this.

It is going to be difficult to fit in much in the way of running over the long weekend, as I am heading down to Traralgon, in a marquee at the Traralgon Races on Saturday, cousins 18th birthday on Sunday and then a big night planned cup eve watching Mick Thomas and the Sure Thing.

I'm hoping to get a 10km run in tonight and possibly Saturday morning, and hopefully a long run on Sunday or Monday afternoon about 18km.

Sounds good now, but very unsure whether I will actually do this.
