April 10 - Clifton Hill to South Yarra Run

This was my post race run, and the first time I had used my Timex Speed & Distance watch on a regular run. This run is probably the most boring of all the runs I actually do, going fromClifton Hill railway station straight down Hoddle/Punt to the Yarra, along Alexandra Ave and then up the Darling Street hill.

The good news was that the run is a bit longer than I estimated at 5.5km. I actually thought it was just shy of 5km, so I'm happy about that. I did it in 24.57, which is an average pace of 4.30ish, which I was also happy with.

This is a run that is very convenient after work, as I can catch the train from Ivanhoe and alight at Clifton Hill, then run home to South Yarra.

I'm currently trying to work out my next goal. I will do a half marathon somewhere this year, just not sure where yet. The next couple of races I have planned, are the Angling For A Cure run in late April, and the 10km Sri Chinmoy in May.
