August 28 - Home via The Children's Farm

I decided to start lifting the length of my run home, so instead of the direct route I added a section through the Collingwood Children's farm and along the banks of the Yarra.

It's actually a nice run, with most of it along the bike path alongside the Yarra River with a few cows, goats and horses for company.

It makes such a difference running on the milder evenings, so much more pleasant and easier to motivate myself.

I felt pretty good for most of this run, with a little soreness in the lower legs initially, but this subsided very rapidly after the first 10 or so minutes.

All up I completed the 9km run in just under 45 minutes, so fairly quick as well.
