June 26 - Ivanhoe to South Yarra

Well I didn't get a run in at Wodonga as planned, the weather was very ordinary and was enjoying myself immensely with my two nieces, so wasn't hard not to go and pound the pavement.

So today was my first run since last Thursday and decided to take it very easily. Followed the ususal route from Upper Heidelberg Road to Heidelberg Road and west through to Fairfield Park. I cut through Fairfield Park and followed the Capitol City Trail down to Dight's Falls, then up to Trenerrey Crescent and behind Victoria Park. Then it was across Johnson Street and following Lennox Street all the way down to Swan Street.

Then I deviated from the usual route and went behind the Depot, down to Balmain Street, and along the train lines and across the rail bridge over the Yarra and the freeway, and finally up Darling Street hill.

All up this was a 10.5km run in a time of 62 minutes at 5.54 pace.
