June 20 - Ivanhoe to South Yarra

Well I am still attempting to work through the second night 'blues' on my runs. It seems when I only run three nights per week that if I run Monday/Tuesday, then the Tuesday run sees me feeling a little lethargic. So tonight I worked at pushing through the stiffness and lethargy a little and keeping my form for the run.

Anyway I decided to run home via Princess Street in Kew, as it gives me a good size hill and not too many stops at roads in comparison to other routes I utilise. I concentrated on keeping my form for the entire uphill and a constant pace.

It seemed to work, as even though the HR was pushed, I recovered very quickly and felt pretty strong for the entire run. I even managed to pick up the pace considerably alongside the Yarra and a big finish up Darling Street.

All up it was just over 11km in 60minutes on the dot.
