April 16 - South Yarra to Beaumaris

Decided to throw in a long run this morning in preparation for a chocolate overdose. The forecast of showers clearing wasn't promising, but it actually was a good morning for running albeit cool.

Left just after 8 from South Yarra and cut down to the bay through Fawkner Park and Albert Park Lake to the bottom of Fitzroy Street. From there the plan was to run to about Sandringham. I kept a nice constant pace for the entirety of the run and as I got to Sandringham I felt really good, so decided to continue on.

By the time the two hour mark was coming up, I felt like I had run enough for the morning and stopped at Beaumaris, just south of Balcombe Road. In all I ran for 1.59 and a total of 22km's, run at an average of 5.25 pace. (Love the Timex!)

Feel really good after the run, now for those eggs!
