April 21 - Ivanhoe to Docklands

Today was spent with an eye to the sky, as showers and hail were forecast. Numerous rainy patches passed over Ivanhoe, however the last one finished at about 4:45pm. So as I set off it was chilly, but thankfully no rain.

Tonight's run followed Heidelberg Rd to Collingwood Athletics track, and then followed Merri Creek. Once I got to Rushall Station I progressed west along the rail trail to the top of Princes Park, and then south down Royal Parade. Cutting across the top of North Melbourne and then following Errol Street down to Spencer Street, and finally heading down LaTrobe Street to Docklands.

No rain until the last 5 minutes of the run, but at least I had nice dry trackies and top to put on. All up it took me 69m22s to run the 12.2km. I felt pretty good for most of the run, but the legs were a little heavy as a result of the hill session earlier in the week, and the backpack wouldn't get comfortable.

I then watched a fairly forgettable game of football. Home and bed was agood place to be last night!
