May 7 - Slow Start To The Month
It has been a very slow start to the month of May in terms of running!I actually haven't run yet, due to work and most of last week in Warrnambool. Was probably a bit lazy this evening, but thought that the first day of the work week was the day to begin the program.
It's probably given me an opportunity to reassess my goals as far as running is concerned, as I was running for enjoyment and fitness, but I tend to drift away if I don't keep setting goals. So I have decided that my goals for the remainder of 2006 are:
- Complete a half marathon.
- Consistently run 5 days per week.
- Get my weight below 80kg.
- Run 10km in under 44 minutes.
Ideally I will run a marathon as well, but might wait until early 2007 before I really push on with this.
