March 28 - Nike Training Run
Today was another Nike Training Run for the Run for the Kids race, this time held at the Prince Patrick Hotel. I jumped into the medium 12km run, and it was a pretty good group. Picked up some hill running techniques from Clarkey, the run leader, which will hopefully assist in the race on April 9.I was a bit heavy and tired in the legs, and my right hamstring was a little tight, but I felt better at the 10km mark than I did earlier in the run. The free beer was a god send afterwards however, although I don't think beer and blue cheese is a recommended recovery snack!
